Peace & Non-Violence
Peaceful, apolitical, non-violent — rooted in the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
The traditional character of this work
Tablighi Jamaat has historically been characterised by a peaceful, apolitical and non-sectarian approach: gentle invitation, personal spiritual reform, and grassroots community engagement. It does not organise political activity, campaigns, protests, or any form of coercion.
Our stance
- We unconditionally reject violence, extremism, terrorism and coercion, whoever the target.
- We reject political, sectarian and inflammatory content on this platform.
- We uphold peaceful coexistence, respect for the law, and respect for neighbours of every faith and none.
- We honour the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults as a religious and legal duty.
Character in the Sunnah
The Prophet ﷺ said: "The best of you is the one who is best to his family." He was known for gentleness, honesty, keeping promises and honouring neighbours. Any behaviour that contradicts this character contradicts the Sunnah, regardless of the label attached to it.
